Our Verdict
Extremities's X Therm Stretch Balaclava will really bulk up your winter backpacking set-up by adding incredible insulation around your neck and head. The fabric is soft against your skin and is very comfortable to wear for long periods. Whilst not windproof, if you add this under your hood you'll feel an amazing boost in warmth even on a really icy, windy day.
