Our Verdict
The Sea to Summit Venture VtII is a premium synthetic sleeping bag for cold-weather adventures. An EN comfort rating of -5°C (23°F) provides cosy warmth even when temperatures dip well below freezing.
The key is the highly thermally efficient WaveLoft Thermolite insulation, which traps maximum warmth in its heat-trapping curves. The women's specific cut positions more insulation over the core to boost thermal performance where needed most. A contoured hood and oversized draft tubes prevent heat loss.
Despite its impressive warmth for weight, the Venture VtII avoids the overly constrictive mummy shape thanks to its wider cut around the hips and knees. This allows freedom of movement without compressing the insulation.
When milder conditions move in, the innovative Free Flow zipper system lets you increase ventilation or fully open the bag flat like a quilt for maximum comfort.
