Our Verdict
Patagonia Women’s Trailfarer shorts 4.5” are made from lightweight 90% Prevented Ocean Plastic™ recycled polyester and 10% spandex plain weave for 4-way stretch which gives these shorts the right amount of movement perfect for running. The narrow elasticated waistband with a full drawcord makes them fit snugly on the waist without having too much bulk. The drying loop is a convenient addition. These shorts have one rear press-studded pocket which can also be used to stuff the shorts into for packing and is large enough for a mobile phone. Although designed for running, they are practical for everyday wear too.
