Our Verdict
The Montane Respond Dry Line Gloves are a versatile option for cold, damp conditions. They are designed to keep hands warm and dry while remaining lightweight and packable. PrimaLoft Gold insulation and a PERTEX outer provide excellent warmth without bulk, and the waterproof FREEFLOW Mantle liner does a solid job keeping out moisture. I particularly appreciate the pre-curved fingers, which allow for a more natural hand position, helping to reduce fatigue during extended wear.
These gloves are also touchscreen compatible, a thoughtful addition for those who need to check devices on the go. The gauntlet cuff with adjustment ensures a snug fit around the wrist, keeping out draughts and wetness, and the included stuff sack is a nice touch for easy storage.
