Rab’s Women’s Exion ND35 is a well-balanced, feature-packed pack for day hikes, light overnighters, and fast-moving adventures. Weighing 1,337 grams, it offers a solid combination of comfort, durability, and load stability while maintaining a women’s specific fit for those with smaller frames.
The V-TRAX adjustable back system ensures a close, tailored fit, effectively distributing the weight onto the hips for improved stability. The wraparound harness and lumbar padding provide excellent comfort, while the 3.5mm aluminium frame adds enough structure to handle heavier loads without feeling overly rigid.
Instead of a front-access zip like its larger counterparts, the Exion ND35 features a side zip for quick kit access—useful for grabbing essentials on the go but requiring some careful packing. The large front mesh pocket is ideal for stashing an extra layer of wet gear.
One minor issue is the compression straps over the side mesh pockets, making retrieving water bottles a little awkward. However, the comfortable fit, durable build and practical storage options make this an excellent choice for anyone seeking a versatile and stable daypack.
