Our Verdict
The Berghaus Wandermoor Wind Shorts are an excellent choice for active adventures where freedom of movement combined with some weather protection is needed. The lightweight, four-way stretch fabric allows unrestricted mobility whether you're out for a hike, run, or scramble.
While not fully waterproof, the wind-resistant nylon/elastane fabric has a PFC-free DWR coating to shed light precipitation. This makes the Wandermoors more versatile than typical hiking shorts for changing mountain conditions.
This pair of shorts offer a comfortable fit with the elastic waistband equipped with an adjustable drawcord. Additionally, secure zippered back pockets, two open hand pockets, and gusseted construction provide ample storage space and enhanced mobility.
The fit is trim but not restrictive, making them great for faster-paced outings. The light, packable weight is a bonus when travelling fast and light.
