The Vigor Grid Fleece Pullover Hoodie is a great winter mid-layer that will keep you warm and dry in cold weather. It is made from an incredibly breathable yet warm Thermo-Regulating “ActiveTemp” grid-backed fleece that traps warm air while allowing moisture to escape. This makes it ideal for hiking or climbing, as it will help to regulate your temperature and prevent you from overheating. The hood and elongated neck work together to create a balaclava that provides excellent protection from sleet and snow drifts, making it a good choice for winter activities in cold and wet weather. However, the hood can feel a little restrictive in warmer weather, so it may not be ideal for use in all conditions. The hoodie does not have any elastication in its hem, which prevents it from riding up when you are moving around. This is a good feature, as it helps to keep the hoodie in place and prevents it from becoming uncomfortable. The thumb loops also help to keep the sleeves in place, which is a nice touch. The Vigor has one Napoleon chest pocket, which is a good size for storing keys or a small phone. However, it would have been nice to have some hand-warming pockets or a kangaroo pocket for warming your hands when you stop moving.
