Our Verdict
The Vigor Grid Fleece Half Zip great mid-layer that will keep you warm and dry in cold weather. It is made from an incredibly breathable yet warm Thermo-Regulating “ActiveTemp” grid-backed fleece that traps warm air while allowing moisture to escape. The Vigors half zip also helps when you need to dump heat and moisturise quickly. This makes it ideal for hiking or climbing, as it will help to regulate your temperature and prevent you from overheating. The Vigor Half Zip has no elastication in its hem, which prevents it from riding up when you are moving around. This is a good feature, as it helps to keep the hoodie in place and prevents it from becoming uncomfortable. The thumb loops also help to keep the sleeves in place, which is a nice touch. The Vigor has one Napoleon chest pocket, which is a good size for storing keys or a small phone. However, it would have been nice to have some hand-warming pockets or a kangaroo pocket for warming your hands when you stop moving. Overall, the Vigor is a great mid-layer perfect for hiking, scrambling and climbing. It is well-made and provides excellent warmth and breathability.
