Our Verdict
I really like this outer wind shell; it's incredibly packable and weighs very little. It's a pullover with a half-length zip that quickly ventilates heat when needed. The soft and supple material, which has a reasonable amount of stretch, which shocked me. Wind shells tend to be crinkly and don't have much give.
The Stretch Wind Anorak had a large kangaroo pocket, which is fantastic for shielding your hands from the wind, and for a few light items, but I'm not a fan of kangaroo pockets on outer shells if I'm using them with a rucksack as I find it restricts its use.
The hem of the anorak can be cinched in with a drawcord and the cuffs are elasticated and backed with a soft lining that feels nice against the skin.
