Our Verdict
I wouldn’t really class these as winter gloves by any stretch of the imagination, though they would work really well as part of a layering glove system in the cooler months. These are incredibly lightweight and pack down to nothing so that they can be stashed in your pack all year and forgotten about.
There are many times I would have been thankful to have these despite them not actually being that warm; if you are climbing in any high, exposed spot, when the weather turns, you know any additional protection is welcome, especially in high wind.
They are very comfortable and breathable, though the touchscreen capability is lacking.
