The Tenacity Lite Pants are designed with fast mountain walking and backpacking in mind. Made using Granite Stretch Lite fabric throughout, these pants offer superior abrasion and wind resistance for wild days up high. An athletic fit provides greater freedom of movement, while an integrated webbing belt and zipped fly keep the pants secure. Two mesh-lined hand pockets and a rear zipped pocket offer ample storage for essentials.
Our Verdict
The main choice of fabric in the Tenacity Lite Pants is Montane’s Granite Stretch, a lightweight double-weaved soft shell that facilitates a large degree of movement. The double weave makes these trousers very wind resistant and allows them to shed some water, though they are not waterproof. The Granite Stretch is also very abrasion-resistant so they can stand up to life on the trail.
Tenacity Lite Pants come with an integrated belt which does a good job of keeping everything in place. Two mesh-lined hand pockets provide some storage but also help the trousers ventilate heat; there is a more discreet pocket in the rear of the trouser.
These are an Ideal choice for three seasons of use, light, minimalistic, comfortable and wind resistant.
