Lightweight, eco-friendly, and functional, the Mammut Stretch Gloves are a great companion for cooler days outdoors.
Mammut says:
The Stretch Glove is a lightweight glove made of stretchy fleece to keep your hands warm when hiking and running. If temperatures really start to drop when skiing or mountaineering, it offers you an extra insulating layer when worn as a glove liner. The stretchy fleece is made of ECONYL® recycled nylon and spandex, is easy to care for and dries quickly. The Stretch Glove is also touchscreen-friendly, so you don’t have to take it off to use your smartphone.
Our Verdict
The Mammut Stretch Gloves are a lightweight, versatile option for cool-weather hikes, runs, or layering in colder conditions. Made from ECONYL® recycled nylon with added spandex, they offer a snug, stretchy fit that allows for a full range of movement. At just 34g for a medium pair, they’re easy to pack and ideal as light liner gloves under more robust outer layers in cold weather.
The fleece fabric provides quick-drying warmth and is easy to care for, though as it’s not moisture-wicking, it’s best suited to low-intensity activities. The gloves are also touchscreen-compatible, allowing you to use your device without removing them—a practical feature for navigation or taking photos on the go.
