Our Verdict
A lightweight and dependable over trouser that importantly packs down small. They are quick to deploy, and the half-length zip means you can get them on quickly, no matter what footwear you are using. Once the Storm Cruiser Pants are on, you fasten them with a secure button snap closure with a fly. The fit can then be tailored with a drawstring.
The 20-denier Ballistic nylon ripstop is much more durable than I initially thought. It will brush off most abrasions, though it is a little crinkly.
