Our Verdict
The Black Diamond Stance Mitts are a lightweight, packable solution for keeping your hands warm in cold conditions. They also function effectively as an insulating layer within a glove layering system. With PrimaLoft® Gold insulation and an ultralight Pertex Quantum Pro shell, these mitts provide excellent warmth without bulk, making them ideal for ski tours, winter hikes, or as a backup layer.
Weighing just 68g for a medium pair and coming with a stuff sack for easy storage, they can be quickly deployed when extra warmth is needed. The suede goat leather palm adds durability and is rated for temperatures between -9°C and 0°C.
