Mammut’s Smart Case Light Small is a waterproof case that can store electronics, small items of clothing or toiletries. It can also be used to diffuse light from a head torch.

Our Verdict
I found Mammut’s Smart Case Light Small an excellent case to store my electronics and the minimal camera gear I carry on trips. It easily housed my powerbank, charging cables, spare batteries and micro SD cards, but it would also be a good place to store small clothing items or toilets. I‘m a fan of the bright orange one as it was easy to locate in my pack and find after dark in my tent.
As it's waterproof, I had more confidence housing my electricals here, but it would be just as good at keeping spare socks dry. A small “hack” I found by chance; this makes an excellent light-defusing box so that you can stash your head torch inside, and it will give off a cosy, warming glow.
The semi-transparent window means if you have more than one of these, you can quickly locate what you are after without riffling through them all.
