Our Verdict
Kelty's Cosmic 0 Synthetic Sleeping Bag uses a generous 1560g of CirroLoft synthetic insulation to deliver a warm bag that has a -15°C Comfort Limit. Although the synthetic Cosmic range are not the lightest bags you certainly get extraordinary value for money. It has all the features you'd expect from a top of the range bag with a draft tube down the anti-snag zipper, shoulder baffles and a good hood.
For the set of features and level of warmth at this price there are some other costs and these come in the form of a high weight and rather large pack size. For this amount of money you would expect some trade offs but when you consider just how warm and comfortable the bag is at this price it's hard to complain about the size and weight. It is an ideal piece of kit for car camping in particularly cold damp conditions.
