Rab's Neutrino Pro range features 800 Fill Power down intelligently baffled for an excellent warmth to weight ratio, and a water resistant outer shell gives them the flexibility to be used for bivying, tarp camping etc as well as your normal applications.

The Neutrino Pro 700 embodies the Alpine spirit. Perfect for four season adventures, its high warmth for weight makes it ideal for winter alpinism. Designed with a narrow mummy fit, for reduced bulk and pack size, and constructed with lightweight, high performance materials.
The Neutrino Pro 700 is filled with 700g of 800FP, goose down, stabilised in chevron shaped baffles, cleverly designed to reduce the amount of fabric needed compared to traditional horizontal baffles. The trapezoid boxwall baffle construction allows the down to fully loft, eliminates cold spots, and maximises warmth. Additional baffles along the length of the zip and around the neck decrease heat loss and with an adjustable drawcord around the hood you can cinch the bag around your face.
The Pertex® Quantum Pro outer is made of recycled nylon and offers wind and weather resistance, ideal for coping with condensation and damp conditions in snow holes or exposed bivi ledges. The down is also finished with a Nikwax, fluorocarbon-free hydrophobic treatment, resisting moisture and improving performance over extended trips in snow or damp weather.
Hand-filled in the UK, all our down bags benefit from never having had their down compressed before use, maintaining the down’s loft and warmth.
Our Verdict
Rab's Neutrino Pro 700 Down Sleeping Bag is one of their key sleeping bags, designed for mmountaineering, trekking and fast & light activities, its filled with high quality 800 Fill Power down with technical trapezoidal boxwall baffles and a differential cut which offsets the seams and eliminates cold spots.
The Neutrino Pro bags use Pertex Quantum Pro as the outer shell which is highly water resistant making the bags especially useful for bivying, tarp camping or single skin tent use, plus all the usual places you might sleep in one.
They are also a Tapered Mummy shape which means they are a bit 'neater' than your standard Mummy specification, so some people who don't like being in a restirctive bag may not like them so much, however this type of design does make the bags more efficient as they reduce heat loss due to air movement inside the bag.
The rest of the bag is up to Rab's high standard with features and construction to a very high standard.
