The Cosmic Ultra range provide exceptional value for money with a serious amount of down providing you with a warm sleeping bag. These are well made bags that are durable, comfortable and have some impressive features.

Our Verdict
Kelty's Cosmic Ultra 0 Down Sleeping Bag provides a huge amount of warmth and comfort. The bag uses trapezoidal baffles to allow the down to loft more and trap more heat. Using 1000g of 800FP down you are getting a massive amount of insulation which is reflected in the -15°C Comfort Limit. It has all the features you'd expect from a top of the range bag with a draft tube down the anti-snag zipper, shoulder baffles and a close fitting hood.
For the set of features and level of warmth at this price there are some other costs and these come in the weight of the bag and it's pack size. The Cosmic Ultra definitely provides excellent value for money as long as you are fine with the heavier weight and larger pack size compared to more expensive alternatives. It is certainly a perfect piece of kit for car camping in particularly cold conditions.
