A classic mountain cap that is water and wind-resistant. It's lightly insulated, so it keeps you warm, but overheating isn't really a problem. The ear flaps are a godsend on cold windy days; they don't impair your hearing but give a good level of protection. The drawcord is discreet and easy to adjust to a precise fit.
