A large, versatile tarp that you can put up in numerous ways to create a great area for groups to shelter under or palatial space for a couple. This PU tarp is great for regular use, provides excellent value for money and is well suited for use with groups.

The Tarp S with the sizes 290 X 400 cm is a 11,6m² rectangular flysheet for multiple applications. The diverse setup options make it practical for a wide variety of usages: as an additional roof or as a substitute tent. It can be fastened to trees or stakes or set up with additional tent poles (not included) to be used on its own. All guy line loops are reinforced and equipped with a sturdy brass grommets. Long guy lines with tension locks are included with each Tarp. The Tarp can be set up as desired using poles from our accessories.

Our Verdict
Wechsel's Tarp TL S is a quality tarp that's amazingly versatile for shelter. There are numerous points to peg, pole or guy so you can get the best coverage for the conditions. There are 12 guy lines pre-attached which is awesome for straight out the bag use. Each guy line has a little pocket which Wechsel add to most of their guy lines to make storage and use much easier. The main points are really well reinforced and have metal rings for poles to sit in making it much easier to put up quickly or in challenging conditions.
The Tarp S TL provides a significant 11.6m2 area and it has certainly been big enough for small to medium sized group outings as a communal area, shelter from the sun and rain, along with it making a great usable space when in a bivy. This is a PU tarp which means that it is nylon treated with polyurethane on one side. This means that it is a fair bit heavier than SI tarps but also provides a lot more value for money.
