The Montane Respond Insulated Pants are a versatile and high-performance synthetic insulation layer ideal for cold weather in the mountains. Made with Primaloft Silver insulation, these lightweight yet warm pants maintain their heat-trapping abilities even when wet, a significant advantage over down insulation.
Key features like the articulated knees, 1/4 length side zips, and adjustable ankle cuffs allow excellent mobility and a dialled-in fit over your base and shell layers. The low-profile elastic waistband with bungee adjustment provides a comfortable, secure fit.
While not windproof, the Pertex Quantum outer fabric offers light weather protection. And recycled materials have less environmental impact.
Perfect as an insulating mid-layer for belaying or cold bivvies, the Respond pants punch above their weight in warmth per ounce.
