The Patagonia R1 TechFace Hoody is a versatile, functional mid-layer. Combining the warmth, stretch, and breathability of Patagonia's Regulator® fleece with enhanced abrasion and weather resistance, this hoody is ideal for changeable conditions. The lightweight double-weave fabric is soft and warm against the skin, while the smooth outer face resists abrasion and sheds light rain thanks to a PFC-free DWR finish.
Designed for optimal performance, the R1 TechFace Hoody features an articulated cut and a good amount of stretch, allowing for a wide range of movements, especially overhead or across the body. The R1 TechFace boasts an external zippered chest pocket and two high handwarmer pockets with mesh backers for ventilation, ensuring that essentials are easily accessible even with a harness or pack waistbelt.
The low-bulk cuffs are designed to stay out of the way when reaching for handholds. The hem can be adjusted via a cord in the handwarmer pocket, and the cord locks at the front hem for easy release.
