The Platypus QuickDraw is an excellent lightweight and compact water filter choice for backpackers and hikers. Weighing just 68g and measuring around 13cm long, it packs down incredibly small yet provides fast flow rates of up to 3L/min straight from the source.
The QuickDraw's versatility makes it compatible with Platypus reservoirs and bottles with a standard 28mm thread. The newly included connector cap lets you attach a bottle to a gravity filtration system.
Beyond convenience, the hollow fibre filter meets strict EPA/NSF standards by removing 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.9% of protozoa from untreated water sources.
Keeping the QuickDraw flowing is refreshingly simple, thanks to the shake-to-clean and backflush cleaning methods, which require no tools. The durable construction ensures longevity, while the outer plastic offers a sturdy grip, even when wet. Both ends are fully sealable, guaranteeing no water leakage when not in use, which is especially useful in cold whether when you may need to bring the filter in your sleeping bag
