Our Verdict
Cébé was founded in 1951 by Roger Pouilloux in the French Alps. The company originally manufactured ski goggles but soon expanded into sunglasses. Cébé sunglasses are known for their high quality and innovative design. The company has a long history of developing new technologies for sunglasses, including the first polarised lenses and the first photochromic lenses. The Proguide Sunglasses are fitted with photochromic lenses, which automatically darken in bright sunlight and lighten in low light conditions. These Cat 2-4 Lens lenses provide high protection from visible and UV light. They are photochromic and well-suited to most outdoor pursuits, from hiking to mountaineering and Skiing.
The Lightweight frame means the sunglasses almost go almost unnoticed when you have them on. The anti-slip nose pad keeps the glasses in place even when sweating.
