Our Verdict
This is a handy little gadget. This windproof electric plasma lighter can ignite most flammable solids, liquids or gasses. I have mainly used this to like my MSR WindBurner, as it doesn’t have an inbuilt ignition. It's effortless and much safer than with a gas lighter.
The “arc beam” emitter can be extended so your hands are safely away from the flame you are lighting. As this is an electric lighter, it cant run out of fuel as a lighter can, it can run out of power, but then it's just a case of charging it up. This can be done on the trail with a battery pack, so you'll never need to worry about running out of fuel again.
