Our Verdict
At 2.1 kg, the Osprey Ozone 4-Wheel Carry-On 44L offers a noticeable step up in volume from the 38L version, without tipping into oversized territory. It retains the same stripped-back, efficient design ethos—plenty of structure, a rigid frame, and enough organisation to keep transit smooth. The four-wheel setup glides reliably, even when weaving through tight, crowded terminals, and the upgraded monopole handle is genuinely comfortable in hand.
The internal layout is clean, with enough room to pack for extended weekend travel or longer trips with careful planning. The laptop sleeve fits a 16-inch device without eating into core packing space, and the coated zip tracks give decent weather resistance when loading or unloading in damp conditions.
