Our Verdict
The Hoka Ora Athletic Slide is an ideal post-hike companion, blending comfort with eco-conscious design. Weighing in at 238 grams per shoe (UK size 8.5), these slides are lightweight yet offer substantial support. The dual-density EVA midsole, partially made from sugarcane, provides a cushioned feel that is perfect for soothing tired feet after a long day on the trails.
Its smooth upper and MetaRocker design create a comfortable cradle for your foot, encouraging a natural stride even when you’re off the beaten path. The injection-moulded outsole adds durability, ensuring these slides hold well while lounging at camp or strolling around town.
Keep in mind that the Ora only comes in ½ sizes. We suggest sizing up. For instance, I’m a size 9, and I tried the 9.5 sizes.
