A tiny and handy little trail knife, the perfect size and weight when you wish to keep your pack light down but still want the functionality of a knife.
Opinel says:
Small knives are accurate and effective in daily life: unpack the packages, make models ...
It offers an excellent cutting quality. The beech wood handle is comfortable in the hand. Beech is the most commonly used wood for the manufacture of Opinel handles. From France, our beech is hard, durable and easy to work. With a homogeneous appearance, its light color varies from yellow to pink. It is characterized by the presence of numerous small dark dashes.
Our carbon steel is extremely hard, thereby guaranteeing excellent cutting quality, good wear resistance and easy regrinding. Carbon can corrode easily. We advise you to avoid damp locations and to wipe and grease the blade after use.

Our Verdict
This is a tiny, and I mean tiny, knife. It's all I'll ever need on the trail; the only time I use a knife is for cooking, the occasional gear maintenance or first aid, cutting bandages and such. So a knife this small and this light is perfect for me. I wish it had a little loop or key ring attachment I could clip it onto as if anything it's too small and could get lost in your pack easily.
