Voyager 2EX Tent is a robust blend of all-weather protection, liveable space, and lightweight design. A three-season, two-person tunnel tent that packs down small and has plenty of room for gear in the enlarged vestibule.

Robens says:

The two-person Voyager 2EX is a stable tunnel tent thanks to features that include the ripstop polyester outer, flat pole sleeves and aluminium alloy poles. It features a large extended porch perfect for expedition pack storage or for foul weather relaxation – something that is much appreciated by self-supported trekkers, cyclists and other adventurers. The clip-in inner tent features a large O-shaped door for easy access and sitting without stressing the fabric.

Our Verdict

Voyager 2EX Tent builds on the classic tunnel tent design with a three-pole set-up. These three poles are remarkably stable in higher winds, allowing lots of internal space. The tent is easy to pitch, with the inner and outer pitch simultaneously. I inserted the poles in the correct pole into the correct grommet. I then pulled the tent tort and pegged it out. Magically the tent erects and with only four pegs. I always enjoy doing this with tunnel tents. Guying out the tent adds stability but also pulls the tent out into a more streamlined, less baggy shape.

The large vestibule is my favourite feature of the tent. The vestibule is a good space for gear and cooking if needed. The vestibule has one large vent to help circulate air. The fly and tent floor are both constructed with a heavy-duty 75 denier polyester, with a HH rating of 5000, so the tent can be pitched on any terrain and will shrug off all but the worst storms. This is a tent I would happily wait out a storm in
