At the heart of Shelterstone's design is the POLARLOFT® synthetic insulation, which provides impressive warmth even in wet conditions—a crucial feature for alpine activities where staying dry isn't always possible. The insulation is strategically placed, with 115g m-2 in the body and sleeves for core warmth and a lighter 80g m-2 in the hood to maintain mobility.
The jacket's DRILITE® LOFT 40D outer fabric with PFC-Free DWR treatment offers excellent wind and water resistance, essential for withstanding harsh mountain weather.
