Our Verdict

Rab's Incline Pants, all you need in a warmer weather Trekking and Hiking pant due to firstly the lightweight Matrix fabric offering a fantastic range of stretch which allows for a high level of mobility required. The Matrix fabric is also treated so it offers water resistance (if regularly re-treated), as well as being highly breathable, so there is no issue with wet legs from rain or perspiration. The quick drying fabric also means that should a summer shower or mishap with a bog, penetrate the fabric then it won't be long until they are back dry again.

While designed as a warmer weather pant they are still pretty durable so still fine for a bit of scrambling or more challenging terrain.

The generous sized zip pockets allowing you to get pretty much any essentials you want to carry in there without fear of anything falling out, unlike some of the smaller pockets that you can sometimes find on other hiking pants.
