Our Verdict
The Rab Incline Light Pants appear to be a simple design but have a lot to offer those who are after a lightweight pants for their hiking and trekking needs over summer.
The Incline uses the Matrix™ fabric which offers a superb level of stretch and mobility for romping up steep hills and scrambles without restriction of movement. the lightweight nature of the fabric also makes them comfortable to be worn all day in warmer conditions, while being very breathable preventing moisture build up and that uncomfortable cold sensation when you have to stop.
I was impressed by how durable they remained despite their lightweight nature so scrambling and tackling steeper ground in them was no issue.
Some of the other great features are the very quick drying fabric, the generous sized zip pockets allowing you to get pretty much any essentials you want to carry in there without fear of anything falling out, unlike some of the smaller pockets that you can sometimes find on other hiking pants.
