The Fjallraven Greenland Winter Jacket is a classic winter jacket with a warm teddy lining. A durable favourite both in nature and town.
Fjällräven says:
A 1970s classic that has warmed generations of nature lovers – now with an improved fit and sustainable materials. Weather-resistant outer fabric, soft teddy-fleece lining and practical details make for a winter jacket that is equally at home in the forest as in town. Its water resistant properties can be enhanced with Greenland Wax, which further increases the durability of an already long-lasting jacket.
Our Verdict
Fjällräven's Greenland Winter Jacket is the original winter jacket from the Swedish heritage brand, and is still just as at home crossing icy glaciers as it is out for a morning walk in the winter snow. First designed for the 1966 Greenland Expedition, this is a timeless shell suitable for the harshest conditions.
The pile lining is luxurious and warm while a wide range of adjustments throughout the jacket ensure a snug fit over whatever layers may be needed. 4 central drop-in pockets give the jacket a surprising amount of storage, and when accompained by handwarmer pockets and a zipped stash pocket, it results in a versatile, durable coat that’s guaranteed to be a staple for many winters to come.
