The Nemo Mayfly OSMO 3P tent uses Nemo's proprietary OSMO fabric, which is made from recycled materials and offers excellent water repellency and durability. The tent has a generous interior space and a sturdy construction with a 68D PU-coated ripstop polyester floor.

Our Verdict
The Nemo Mayfly OSMO 3P tent is an excellent new offering for backpackers seeking a spacious, durable shelter. The design is dominated by Nemo's proprietary OSMO fabric, which is made from 100% recycled polyester/nylon yarns. This advanced composite material repels water 4x longer than standard tent fabrics while stretching 3x less when wet. The OSMO fly also receives a PFAS-free DWR treatment.
While the OSMO fly excels at shedding moisture, the rest of the Mayfly 3P's construction is equally robust for rugged adventures. The 68D PU-coated ripstop polyester floor can withstand plenty of trail abuse. Inside, the tent provides a generous 88" x 62" floor with a 43" peak height, fitting three plus gear, though I would use this as a 2-person tent for extended trips.
Unique pole geometry with Axial corner anchors allows for a taut pitch. Well-designed features like the rectangular Divvy Cube stuff sack make splitting the 3lb 10oz trail weight easy between hiking partners. The Mayfly OSMO 3P blends weather protection with durable, space-efficient construction for a performance-oriented and relatively lightweight three-person backpacking tent.
