Our Verdict
This is a very bright lantern that’s fantastic to use at base camp, it's too bulky for me to take backpacking, but for general camping, it’s perfect. It can produce much light if needed and can be used on its lowest setting just as a night light in a tent.
Being able to use the lantern as a small power bank to charge a phone or satellite communications device in an emergency situation is an excellent feature. You also have the ability to charge the lantern by “cranking” it, so if you are really in a pinch, you have a way to charge the lantern.
This is one of those camping products that will also be used at home.
