Sometimes you have to look back to move forward. These new EX Down Pants are our updated take on our original down pant offered in 2004. We have slimmed the cut slightly and added simple elastic binding at the ankle to improve thermal performance, while eliminating any extras to preserve our commitment to optimal warmth to weight ratio. A lighter, more compressible fabric and the removal of hand pockets allow us to bring a 200 gram down pant to the “beyond ultra-light” crowd. Perfect for lounging around camp or when worn at night to boost the warmth of your sleep system. This is a western fit model and differs from Japanese sizes. Be sure to check the size chart before purchasing.

Constructed from durable 10-denier Ballistic Airlight® ripstop nylon, these pants pack down into the included stuff sack, making them an easy addition to any cold-weather kit. The elasticated waist with drawcord ensures a comfortable, adjustable fit, though some may find the lack of a fly opening slightly limiting for convenience.
