Our Verdict
When I’m looking for more durable waterproof over-trousers, dual zips on the 3/4-length side zips are at the top of my must-have list. These not only make it easy to get the trousers on and off over any footwear but also double as vents, helping to disperse heat and internal moisture—a feature I’m pleased to find on the Foray 3L Pants.
Another standout feature of the Foray 3L Pants is the deep back pocket, something many over-trousers lack. Not only is it practical for stashing essentials, but it also serves as a stuff sack for the trousers. This improves packability and keeps the rest of your gear dry when the trousers are packed away—a thoughtful touch.
The elastic waist with drawcord ensures a secure and comfortable fit, while the gusseted crotch provides added freedom of movement. Combined with articulated knees and the slight stretch of the fabric, these features allow for an impressive range of motion.
