Our Verdict
This is not a safety part of the Gravityworks system - its purely to enhance the tase of the filtered water. In our view not required for most situations - but if you are going where water is very scarce and the choice of replanishment maybe limited - this could be a really useful piece of kit - at 1oz it weighs virtually nothing and will be worth its weight if the only water source is full of crap.
