Primus' Micron Lantern is designed to be small, lightweight and durable but still highly effective. The mantle is protected by a mesh metal cover which is more durable than a glass casing but still effectively allows light through. This is a simple to use gas lantern which uses very little fuel.

Our Verdict
The Primus Micron Lantern is just the job for winter backpacking when an LED headlamp just doesn`t do it for hours on end. Burn time with one 230g LP gas bottle is estimated at 12-24 hours - this needs factoring in.
