The Mountain Mitts from Mountain Equipment are high warmth and highly waterproof solution to the UK winter's cold and wet conditions and provide exceptional value for money. Full of features at a low price point these mitts are highly dependable and highly versatile.
The POLARLOFT insulation combined with the brushed tricot lining keeps your hands comfortable and warm through all-day use in cold, wet conditions. The single-handed cuff closure system works well without having to take off your other mitt to adjust it which is a great feature when the conditions, or the route, make this difficult.
The soft leather palm is very grippy even when wet which provides confidence when using ice axes - the downside of this soft leather is that it may not last as long as some of the reinforced leather models.
