Low profile and super dexterous, wind-stopping gloves built for high-octane winter pursuits.
Rab says:
Offering insulative wind protection without compromising dexterity, these are lightweight, high stretch gloves. Breathable, water resistant, and built with GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ they are ideal for mountain runners tackling winter ascents.
Our Verdict
Gloves built with winter trail runners in mind. They are low-profile, with a lot of stretch, so you have good dexterity when wearing these gloves. The Transition Windstopper Gloves use a GORE-TEX INFINIUM membrane, making them water-resistant and windproof but not waterproof. They are not the warmest gloves, but they are designed to be worn when working extremely hard in winter conditions, so it is a good plan to use them as a layering glove if you are doing something less strenuous.
They use a silicon print grip which helps with things like trekking poles, and the touchscreen capabilities work as expected.
