Rab says
Featuring a 3D pre-curved construction for better tool handling, the Guide Light GTX Glove is made with GORE-TEX® Active waterproof technology, and features Stratus insulation throughout.
A durable textured stretch outer, low profile cuff and comfortable Bemberg lining ensure the Guide Light GTX Glove is ideal for winter climbing and mountaineering.
Our Verdict
Rab's Guide Lite Gore-Tex Gloves have a full leather palm, leather fingers and thumb and leather over the knuckles. That's a lot of leather, and it makes these gloves feel like they are going to last you forever, as long as you look after them.
The length in the fingers is better over previous iterations of the Guide Gloves and overall fit is good. There's no elastication at the cuff however, which makes getting the Guide Lite gloves on ever-so-slightly more troublesome.
The Gore-Tex at the cuff rolls round into the glove before it is stitched, this gives you full waterproof fabric right to the edge of the cuff with no seam or need for tape, reducing the chance or water soaking into the glove in this area.
