Our Verdict
I used the Sea to Summit Detour Stainless Steel Collapsible 3L Pot at an outdoor cooking demo and was genuinely impressed — it felt like cooking with a proper pan at home. The broad base and three-litre capacity give you room to cook real meals, not just boil water or heat sachets. You can comfortably feed a few people from this, making it a great bit of kit for the budding outdoor chef.
The multi-ply stainless steel base distributes heat evenly across camp stoves and induction hobs, while the food-grade silicone sides allow the whole thing to collapse flat for transport. The ClickSafe handles feel solid and lock over the lid when stowed, securing everything neatly. Cleanup was straightforward, thanks to the smooth walls and rounded interior corners that match Sea to Summit’s spoon profiles.
