Multimat's Chair Convertor is a tough kit ready to take any 510mm wide Multimat and turn it into a comfy camp chair. Chair kits truly are a godsend around the camp so the 485g weight penalty will soon be forgotten.

It fits self-inflating Multimats up to 550mm wide and is made from tough, durable 210 denier polyester to make sure it’s durable and comes with supporting rods to give it strength. It weighs just over 1lb and is also supplied with retaining bands and in a handy stuff sack, so it is easy to carry. The Chair Converter XL is another clever idea from Multimat, so if you’re after a sleeping mat chair kit, look no further.
Our Verdict
Not spectacularly lightweight but its a tough product from Multimat and has a comprehensive sleeve for each end of the mat. Plus its incredibly good value - worth consideration.
