Our Verdict
At 36 litres and 2675g, the Cargo Hauler XT Wheeled Duffel is not featherweight, but you gain serious durability. The reinforced corners and oversized wheels roll smoothly over rough ground, and the water-repellent fabric holds up well to drizzle and dirty station floors.
The layout is efficient—compression straps inside help tame awkward loads, and the large U-shaped opening gives easy access without everything spilling out. The telescopic handle is solid and doesn’t rattle, and I’ve found the top pocket handy for stashing items I need close at hand. The backpack straps are surprisingly decent for short hauls, but better as a backup than a primary carry method. I like that in backpack mode, the main opening sits against your back—it’s a simple but effective bit of passive security.
