Our Verdict
The Alpine Chef's knife is MSR's largest camp kitchen knife which is perfect for slicing and dicing veggies and prepping food for large hungry groups.
It is made from a hardened stainless steel which helps resists corrosion and can withstand heavy use. The Santoku-style 6.5" blade has a slight curve for fast chopping and a square tip that makes packing this knife safer and easier. It is ideal for backpacking or general camping as it comes with a safe, ventilated plastic sheath which can easily be cleaned.
Always remember to keep out of reach of children, even if your little ones do fancy them selves as the next Ray Mears!
