Preparation: REMOVE THE OXYGEN ABSORBER* (Sachet) from inside the pouch. Slowly add up to 540ml hot water, stirring as you pour and then close the bag. Wait 5-8 minutes for the food to re-hydrate.
Cold water will suffice in an emergency, however the re-hydration time is much longer.
*The oxygen absorber helps maintain product freshness and is non toxic.
Expedition Foods meals have a long shelf life of up to 5 years.

| STAFF'S TASTE TEST - If you don’t normally have a starter try a cup-a-soup with crackers to boost the meal. I added 250ml boiling water and resealed the bag – left it wrapped in a down jacket for the full time specified. Delicious! Could have been more meaty or tomato flavour – but very tasty and well constituted. |
