Expedition Foods says
Chicken Rice with Vegetables
Preparation: Remove the oxygen absorber (sachet) from inside the pouch. Add 180ml of boiling water, stir the contents, and then close the bag and wait 5-8 minutes for the food to re-hydrate.
Cold water will suffice in an emergency, however the re-hydration time is much longer. The oxygen absorber helps maintain product freshness and is non toxic. Do not eat.
Expedition Foods meals have a long shelf life of up to 5 years.

STAFF'S TASTE TEST - "Lovely strong flavours, and the rice and veggies hydrated well, we often find rice meals can be a bit stodgy but this was light and easy to eat. The herbs, especially the thyme tasted fresh, and added a lot of depth." |
