“The weightiness means the Moonlander is sturdy, even on sand, and makes the for the ideal surface for kids to eat, play games or gather around a campfire.”
Nemo were kind enough to send us some kit to test throughout the summer of 22’. With a family day at the beach pencilled-in along the North-East coastline, I thought it a good opportunity to put some kit to the test.
On one-of the hottest days of the year, we set-up at the picturesque Runswick Bay which is around 10 miles North of Whitby on the North-East coastline. As the name may suggest, the Nemo Moonlander resembles something you might find in outer-space. The ergonomic design allows the table to be packed down to around the size of your average laptop, making it easy to carry to-and-from your car when car camping or a day out at the beach. Coming in at £149.95 (RRP) and just over 2KG in weight this table is certainly a luxury item. The table is set-up and ready to use in seconds, the “low legs” deploy automatically and can be used as a close-to-the-floor surface, or, if you prefer a raised surface to use comfortably alongside a chair, the legs are screwed into place without fuss, increasing the height to around 16”. The tables robustness was put to the test immediately by an excitable toddler. Using it as both a table for snacks and a balance beam in equal measure. The weightiness means the Moonlander is sturdy, even on sand, and makes the for the ideal surface for kids to eat, play games or gather around a campfire.

“Very easy to set up & fold away”
Collapsible, solid table, not quite light enough to take on you lightweight backpacking trips, but can cover all trips in-between.
Very easy to set up & fold away. Ideal for day trips, car camping or anywhere where storage is limited. I used it on a weekend away in our campervan & had no issues folding & storing it away on the night-time. Ideal to be used with kids; The solid legs & foldable mechanism underneath add a lot of strength and rigidity. The height was perfect for us to use as a side table, & my children (aged 2 & 6) used it with their little camping chairs as a dining table.
