Our Verdict
The Patagonia Black Hole Pack 32L is a tremendous all-around backpack for everyday use, travel, and outdoor activities. It's made from durable materials that can withstand a lot of wear and tear and has various features that make it functional and comfortable to use.
The main body of the bag has been constructed from a post-consumer recycled polyester ripstop that has been treated with a TPU film that makes the pack very water-resistant, if you have used any of the black hole range before, you will have seen the rather harsh plastic-looking TPU, I'm pleased to say that has been muted, which is a plus for me at least.
I really like the back panel handle; having an extra point to grab the bag is handy, especially on a crowded train or bus.
